Speakers: Heidi Dickert, Mobile Compass
Tracey Lovejoy,Microsoft

Look around you. Mobile phones are pervasive. Consumers rely on their phones for vast and diverse uses, far beyond simple phone calls. In fact, over half of all US subscribers use mobile data – text messages, photos, videos, internet surfing, looking for directions, downloading and playing games, getting music, checking email and more. Consumers are expecting companies to adjust to these changing dynamics and get feedback where and when it is most convenient for them.

Speaker: Chris (Cri) Boratenski, Mobile Compass

To answer this question Cri will define the roles of each member of the mobile value chain and look at how messages flow between the parties in various scenarios. Cri will also discuss how billing works for standard rated and premium messages, discuss some of the terminology of the mobile industry, look at available API types and dip into some of the different ways to connect to your vendor partners.

News: Groundbreaking Technology Unleashed as AT&T Looks to Femtocell and Satellite for Extending Their Network
Author: Chris (Cri) Boratenski, Mobile Compass

While our friends across the pond enjoy relatively good reception throughout most of Europe, the US, with its comparatively sparse population density and mishmash of wireless technologies has made the proliferation of consistent wireless signal difficult. A joint effort between the two companies has resulted in the GENUSTM, a mobile satellite phone that is the first to ever combine both satellite and cellular capabilities into a single device.
